About Me

I am currently a second-year Occupational Therapy student at Curtin University, I chose this career path as I am deeply passionate about helping others achieve their goals and live their best lives. Alongside my academic pursuits, I enjoy the outdoors and various activities, including spending time at the beach, crocheting, catching up with friends and playing sports. I have a love for animals with my own two dachshunds who bring me so much joy. Additionally, I enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle by going the gym and playing volleyball.

What are some of my strengths and hobbies?

I have an energetic personality combined with a strong dedication to welcoming new challenges and experiences. Punctuality, honesty and reliability define my professionalism in in my day to day life. I understand the importance of a client-centered approach in providing professional and reliable care. My compassionate nature, marked by empathy, understanding and clear communication, creates a supportive environment for collaboration and mutual respect. In my leisure time, I enjoy a variety of sports, crafts, like crocheting, baking, cooking and I also enjoy seeking adventure in outdoor activities like camping.

What do I enjoy learning about?

I enjoy learning new things about the human body for example: muscles and how they function and the body systems and how they work together. I've aways loved learning about physiology, how the brain works and responds to different stimuli.

Why do I like supporting children with an autism diagnosis and their families?

I enjoy supporting children with an autism diagnosis and their families as I find it very rewarding to have a positive impact on a child's life. I am passionate about helping children reach their full potential and thrive as an individual. I believe that every child regardless of their ability deserve to be understood, supported and given the opportunity to learn and grow without extra stress. By working with children and their families, I have the chance to make a difference in their lives by enhancing the child and their loved ones quality of life.
