Art Club launches in 2025 on Tuesdays in Warwick, Perth.
ACT for Autism Australia proudly support the autism community by creating socially inclusive environments. Our group activities aim to unite families with shared special interests and build a sense of belonging whilst children are supported to do something that they love. We seek to nurture participant’s self-esteem and help them feel better more often by allowing them to practise feeling calm, competent and connected.
We are an inclusive provider and any art lover, autistic or non-autistic, is welcome. Our art club needs to be a safe environment and is not suited to individuals who consistently demonstrate aggressive behaviours or engage in property destruction in community settings. Before meeting our Art Club members, we will seek to listen and understand how we can design our art club sessions to optimise enjoyment and avoid any aversive triggers for every individual.

ENQUIRY and booking FORMS
Please complete an enquiry form if you have any further questions and you want to request a phone call. Click on the link underneath the image of your preferred group below.
Please complete a booking form if you are ready to enrol and you want to request an invoice to secure placement.
ENROLMENT PROCESS
Enrolment processes allow interested participants to access all the information they need before making a decision about whether to purchase an induction meeting (which triggers a term enrolment with no further invoices). Unfortunately refunds can not be issued if there is a change of mind, or if sickness or personal reasons prevent attendance.
COSTS AND PAYMENT PROCESS
Once we have received your completed booking form, participants will receive an invoice for the induction phone call our staff will have with the parent / adult participant prior to their first session. After the invoice has been paid, the individual’s place is secure for every session they wish to attend that term and no other invoices will be issued. To participate in one term of our Art Club the total cost for is $585 (GST free). All materials are included. Unfortunately we can not provide refunds or make up sessions.
When booking, the person completing the form can share what line item is most suitable to be on the participant’s invoice, which will be up to the NDIS representative to decide in accordance with the individual’s goals and funded supports. For example, some individuals want to access Art Club for skill building (capacity building) and some participants would like to join in for social participation or community access purposes (core support).
Line items that require a number of hours to be invoiced will include hours for the non-face-face-work completed by our staff in preparation for Art Club enrolments. If a line item has no maximum price in the most recent NDIS Pricing Arrangements then we will invoice for 1x total sum.
Further information
Carers attend and remain with the participant unless otherwise agreed with the staff.
Specific activities are designed according to the individual interests and support needs of our members, but a variety of art materials and techniques will be included over the term.
