About Me

My name is Sabrina and I am an Occupational Therapist. I divide my time between Germany and Australia and hope to successfully migrate to Australia with my fiancé Kevin one day.

What are some of my strengths and hobbies?

I am an energetic, happy person and I love being around children, I feel energised and lucky to be able to work with kids. I enjoy going to the beach, painting, and socialising with my friends and family.

What do I enjoy learning about?

I have recently finished five years of study in which I specialised in autism and behaviour analysis. A lot of people think applied behaviour analysis (ABA) is a specific, compliance-focused ‘therapy’ which is not a view to which I subscribe. I am interested in learning how to use the scientific principles to help children gain skills, engage in social fun, feel safe and understand that being autistic does not make you less worthy than any other non-autistic person.

Why do I like supporting children with an autism diagnosis and their families?

I feel that autistic children are so often misunderstood. I am so passionate about advocating for vulnerable children who do not have a voice, as well as supporting more independent autistic children to build self-esteem, harness their special interests and strengths and to help them reach their potential and experience a happy life.
